This Academy was officially founded in 2005. It is in charge of the integrating the organizational, curriculum, faculty, funding and equipment resources. By working through operational mechanism, this Academy endeavors to improve teaching quality, strengthening business-school cooperation and demonstrate research capabilities.
The first Chairwoman was Dr. Pin-hua Fu and the incumbent Chairwoman is Dr. Wen-chien Tzuo.
There are three departments in this Academy, namely-Department of Tourism Management, Department of Hospitality and Department of Travel Management. The planning and establishment of “Graduate School of Health and Leisure”. There are 33 full-time teachers, total 55 classes in different programs and 2,750 students in this Academy.
